Family run business, Heinz and his 3 sons (and some other highlly trained mechanics) do all kinds of engine and body work on everything from Ferrari to Toyota (we have them work on our Volvo and BMW). Heinz drives a Mercedes, and he was initially trained by MB in Germany. I don't think they are the cheapest place, but I never worry that they are doing work that doesn't need to be done or are jerking me around at all. They keep our records so they know what needs to be done when (like replace the timing belt). Helpful all around. Can be a zoo in the morning and afternoon, though.

I don't believe you could find a better service provider for "quality" and "price." They are honest, capable, and reasonable. I would recommend them to anybody who is seriously interested in quality car repair. Thanks.

I asked them to change my 1993 Saab's thermastat. They were good enough to ask me why i thought it needed to be replaced; they concurred with my diagnosis; repaired it quickly as promised.

They run a no-frills, honest shop. They are mechanics, not salesmen, which is refreshing. And if you can get away without an expensive repair, they will help you do so. I trust them, which is all you can ask for.

They fixed the rattle! My VW dealership "could not reproduce" the popping noise in my window and door since I drove it off the lot in 2002. Foreign Car Service drove with me to hear the rattle and worked to isolate and resolve it. I was impressed with their personal attention to my concerns and their success at silencing that infernal rattle!
