I started going to Charlie DuBose back in 1999 when he ran this business from the old two-bay white gas station, next to where the current station is. Charlie was a very competent mechanic and also good at relating to people. I was always very satisfied, even after he built the new shop and it started to get difficult to get appointments for those of us that don't drive monsterous gas-guzzling Motorhomes. After Charlie died 2 1/2 years ago, the business died with him. They employ a mechanic by the name of Bob, who is a real jerk. Justin (Charlie's son) and Charlie's widow are neither good mechanics nor good at relating to people. If you take your car here, but don't drive a Winnebago, Fleetwood, or Bounder, you're a fool. You'll get ripped off, your car will not be fixed correctly (and might be damaged further - as in my case), and the DuBose's will lie to the Better Business Bureau or State Department of Consumer protection to cover their own rear end and declining reputation. Charlie kept me coming here, but this business and its formerly impeccible reputation died when he did.
