Thoughtful, conscientious, experienced. Been using Stuehrk for 25 years (First Dad - Now son), and I've never felt cheated. This small shop just off NASA 1 is THE place to go if you want top quality no-corners-cut work done right the first time. I appreciate being given clear explanations and options (when they exist). Works on Foreign and American cars.

Mike was recommended to me by three different people, independent of each other (no-one knew the others had gone there also). He has a Volvo of his own, he worked on my 740 wagon and knew exactly what he was doing. Efficient and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The best experience in my 10 years of owning a trouble prone VW Passat. This shop is best you will ever deal with, competent, careful to explain both the problem and the options for fixing it (or not fixing it), and highly ethical. Two other VW owners independently recommended them highly when my Passat moved out of warranty coverage.

Plays NPR in the shop, though stays closed on Saturdays to avoid certain radio shows.

My family has used them for decades. Thirty plus years, I think. We have always been pleased. They do not get impatient with picky or stupid questions. They offer options before they do they work, if there are options to consider. Almost always get the thing done the first time. They are HONEST. They are the best auto shop I have used in 40+ years... If I could have dragged them with me when I moved elsewhere, I would have saved money and stress. They stay busy, duh. You might have to book ahead to get in. Unanswered question above: what type of car did they work on? For my family members: Honda Accords (various), Isuzu SUV, Dodge Dart, Chevy Nova (two), Dodge wagon, Porsche Boxster, others.
