Timing belt went out on my little car so took it in to repair the damage. I don't get out much so in 13 months only drove it 6000 miles. I gave her two oil changes and took off back for Texas when something went kerplunk in my engine and it stopped. Went back to see Bill to find out it was not his fault (according to him) and his warranty is 90 days. Even the dealership gives you 12,000 miles. Good for small cheap repair but if you want something large I suggest you find a real mechanic with a written warranty. Also had Bill look at my air conditioner in the same car and he quoted me $1600 to fix it worse case senerio. Well its fixed now for $500 bucks and cool as can be. My advise find a shop who stands behind their work and can fix your issue without a second opinion.

I took my car in for two problems. A rough idle problem with the check engine light on and the A/C had stopped working. They diagnosed the A/C problem. My brother had the same problem with his vehicle (same make and model, 1 yr newer) and it seemed that they did an okay job with that. They never addressed the rough idle problem. I spoke with one of the guys from the shop and he told that the car was in good shape and worth the repair. I spoke with some other guy from the shop later that same day, he told me that the car was not worth the expense of the repairs that he estimated at over $1000 dollars. They didn't look carefully at the car. I used an unorthodox part to do a repair. They didn't listen to me when I told them and didn't recognize the problem. I decided not to have the work done since I received conflicting information. I was charged $80 for a diagnostic but wasn't given any specific information about what parts would be needed and the cost of labor. I don't understand how the estimate was calculated. I will look for a new mechanic to take care of the things I don't have the equipment to fix myself. Overall, I was disappointed. I have had my car fixed there before. I think they are nice people but I will find someone else to fix my car after this experience. They were not very prompt about letting me know the status of my car. They have short hours, so not that convenient either.
