Guarantees all work for at least 12 months or 18,000 miles. The first time I took my car to Bart's, I thought for sure my car was having transmission problems. I took the car to Bart's by myself. Since I'm a female, some male mechanics might think that they could easily take advantage of me; however, God blessed me with a mechanical mind, so I do know a little bit about engines. I didn't have to worry about that with Bart though. It wasn't the transmission after all; nothing was wrong with the transmission. Six years later, the car is running good AND the transmission is still problem-free. Bart could have easily made something up that had to be fixed & then charged me $1,000.00 or more. I have taken that same car back to him for other repairs; he & his mechanics have always performed all repairs in a quality & timely manner. Another plus, the staff is always very nice & helpful.

After taking my 1996 Kia Sephia to various mechanics (some transmission specialists and some not) and being told that I needed a new clutch, a new transmission, and both and receiving estimates ranging from $550.00 to $1600.00, I checked here and found a recommendation for Bart's. Bart checked out my car thoroughly and found that I had NO transmission lubricant which he fixed at no charge. (Apparently taking your car to quickie oil change places is not a good idea since they routinely mark checking transmission fluid but don't actually do it.) My transmission has sustained some damage and will eventually go out but does not need to be replaced at the moment and my clutch is fine. I simply cannot express how much I appreciate Bart's honesty and integrity. I'm a single mother in graduate school and coming up with the money for repairs was a looming disaster. I would recommend Bart to anyone for any car needs, even just getting the oil changed.

I was impressed by how organized and well kept the shop was. They kept my car until it was in proper running condition, and spent quite a bit of time and energy assessing the problem until they got to the bottom of it. They didn't rush, but they also didn't tally, they kept pace really well as to do the job RIGHT and in the timeliest manner possible. Bart made sure I knew what was going on and he didn't talk to me like I'm an idiot, ( i am a female and all I know about cars is how to drive them ) and it really helps that his wife is the receptionist and secretary for the shop because she is very friendly and I felt extremely comfortable talking to her and to tell you the truth even if your car isn't broken check this place out just to see how impeccably organized it is and ask a few questions because these are the best mechanics around! they've been pleasing customers since 1972! I guarantee you will not be disapointed!

Took my wife's '98 ES 300 there and asked for a front end brake job to get rid of vibration during braking and check the rear brakes and front end for wear and tear. They said the pads showed very little wear and simply turned all the rotors and all else checked out OK. Walked away on a $120 bill that would have been $300+ at the dealer. They have a good shop.
