Clifton and his family (Yeah it's a family shop) have kept me going for the last ten years I've lived in New Braunfels. Unlike my doctor, they've actually made house calls! It's also fun to hear some of the old timers in town come in and speak to Clifton in German. I cannot speak highly enough about the work they do or the attitude they do it with. Great place!

We moved from New Braunfels and really miss B & C. They can handle older or newer cars; foreign or domestic. An example, they when I had a strarting problem with my pickup, they charged me $16 to replace the brushes in the starter. Service on our VW was also great. Completely honest. They don't have time to try to make extra work or to have to do it over. We drove back (90 miles each way) so they could install new AC in our truck.

Franz once fixed an electrical problem for free because it took him only ten minutes. I've been going to BC for fifteen years with no horror stories to tell; I'm always satisfied. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to park with all the cars and trucks piled up though. Fast service, at least for an old customer.

I once had a Ford P.U. which shifted very reluctantly (auto trans.). I had my son take it to an AAMCO shop in town. The service rep pulled the pan, showed my son the "dirty" transmission oil and some tiny bits of metal and announced that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. When I was duly informed of this, I said "HA!"-That's BS." I took it to Mr. Friesenhahn. He drove the truck around the block, got out, lifted the hood, took out his pocket knife, pulled a rubber vacuum hose, trimmed the end, replaced the hose and said, "Now, you owe for a transmission rebuild." Needless to say, he charge me nothing for his knowledge or his service. And, yes, the transmission worked fine.

Clif and Darrell Friesenhahn, a father and son team, who own and operate this shop are two of the most honest and certainly the most knowledgeable mechanics you will find. I had a vehicle problem that bedeviled me for years. However, it was a sporadic electrical problem that only occasionally drained my battery. I repeatedly took it to Hyundai dealers, and since it was not a problem that occurred while they had the car, I was told each time there was no problem. After four attempts to get the problem solved at Hyundai dealers, I took it to Clif and Darrell's B and C Service Center where the car was kept until the problem revealed itself: the same problem that four other services weren't able to find. Thank you, Clif and Darrell!
