As long as I can remember for the last 27 years, I have had a great experience with Chris Newhouse and Allen Huff. They have always been reasonable and not taken advantage of my being a woman. Their prices are very competitive. I wish they would fix it for free, since I am a long time customer. Over the years we have also referred the family and friends to their shop. If you are looking for a family like atmosphere, stop on by. Excellent work at a fair price by honest people

Ray's Auto Electric is by far the most competent shop in town in my 17 years of knowing them. From standard maintenance on my GM truck to odd work on my British exotic, they can do it all. They also have their own in- house alternator/starter rebuilding shop, so Quality Control and sourcing for odd parts is never an issue. Both Chris and Alan have earned my confidence through their ability and willingness to stand behind everything they do. In a nutshell, they can do it all when others give up - 'MacGuyver' style. By the way, there is no Ray, even though the shop is named after him.

Ray's Electric has been doing my auto and truck repairs for nearly 15 years. Honest attempt to do repairs only in the correct manner and at a reasonable cost to me. They always check to see if I should take vehicle to dealer for warranty repairs. Chris and I often disagree about my knowledge of mechanical repairing, but it's certainly a lot more than he knows about medicine. Go by when you have a car or truck problem, be patient, try to get Allen to wait on you and you will be 100 % satisfied.

Wow, how do I begin. Chris and Allan have been at this one location for thirty some odd years. Chris and Allan's experience goes back to their high school days! Allan's understanding and familiarity has relinquished him with vast amounts of automotive troubleshooting, repair knowledge/techniques, and business management that is immense. Then there is Chris... He has an answer for everything, in a good way. Chris has the know-how too fix things that others don't have the aptitude to comprehend. When these two work together, they must be able to get things done efficiently. I guess that's why their shop is a member of the ASA (Automotive Service Association). So I guess what I'm trying to say here is that I will only bring my cars to Ray's Electric.

Very personable as well as competent. We've been using them for 20 years or more. I trust them implicitly. They have never screwed anything of mine up, so I can't comment from experience, but everything I DO know about them tells me they would make it right.

These guys are terrific! The first time I went to Ray's Auto Electric was because of a bad oil leak...transmission overhaul...I was told by two other mechanics. Allan brought my car into the bay and informed me that it was luckily a ten cent o ring. That was in 2000, and since that time Chris and Allan are the only people I trust with my car. It is a '96 Spyder Eclipse and still purrs like a kitten. Their knowledge of automobiles is surpassed by none. Because I am a female, only knowing how to fill the gas tank,I seriously doubt if I would still be driving this vehicle if it weren't for Allan and Chris.

I feel very fortunate that this auto shop exists! They have worked on my Jeep for over 100,000 miles. It keeps on ticking like a Swiss watch. They are superb in every aspect of repair work they offer.

At Ray's Electric, the shop owner is also the lead mechanic. He does not sit in his office all day - he's out on the shop floor fixing cars & trucks. In my experience, the mechanics at Ray's are very professional and competent, all charges were explained, and I came away impressed with the overall honesty and integrity of this facility.
