I took my car to these guys for almost 10 years and I always found them to be very professional, courteous and extremely competent. I found out about them via the recommendation of a co-worker and have since recommended them to everyone I know who has a Honda, VW or Mazda. Some of my friends have these makes of cars and take their cars to Alan and Curtis and have similar glowing recommendations of them. When my VW was new, I had an intermittent problem that the dealership could not resolve in numerous trips there. I took it to Curtis and Alan, and Alan was able to diagnose the problem simply by the way the engine sounded. The problem was fixed that day! I now own an Acura and call them up all the time to ask them when they will add Acura to their list of makes. They have refused thus far because they want to keep their quality of work high. I have also NEVER encountered anyone at their shop who was upset about a job they did. This is common (in my experience) at other shops.

This shop is run by two brothers trained and certified by the the four manufacturers they specialize in. I have been taking my cars to them for the past 14 years, and their honesty and integrity is only surpassed by their polite and pleasant demeanor. They are quick to offer candid recommendations, including not repairing something when warrranted and finding refurbished parts if I wish. They take the time to explain all work needed including showing me why and how the work will be done when possible. It's ONLY because of these guys that I buy the make of cars I do. And best of all, they can tune a car like nobody else. It feels like they have added a cylinder when I leave the shop. They also take the time to go around the car tightening nuts and bolts so my car feels "tight" again.

These 2 brothers have been fixing my RX-7 since I bought it 14 years ago. They are reliable, honest and clean cut; but not as funny as you two.

After mediocre service at Maz-Max. I was very pleased with the service at Import Automotive. They were couteous, prompt and seemed like a nice family. They also said that $400 of repairs recommended by Maz-max could wait.

Alan and Curtis are by far the best mechanics and most honest mechanics that I have ever encountered.

They are very convenient to the Heights and downtown, and they have a waiting area.

I had a "non-fixable" problem with my a/c on my Honda Accord and most dealers and other mechanics just asked me to change the entire a/c system without addressing the root cause. Alan finally pinpointed the problem and even though he did not fix it (for perfectly valid reasons) he gave me the exact information necessary to get the dealer to fix it. Saved over $1000 when the dealer finally fixed it following Alan's directions.

Allen's great. I have a total junker and don't like putting more money than I really have to into it. He understood this and helped me get my car running without worrying about the frills. He explains what's wrong in way even I can understand it and is super friendly.

I found these guys on Mechan X files when I first bought the car. I went to the dealership once, then them, then a shop closer to my house after I moved, then back to them. It is totally inconvenient for me to get to their shop, but I wouldn't go anywhere else because a few different times their prices and knowledge hav just knocked the socks out of the other mechanics I tried. I have stopped straying. I love thes guys! I wish they worked on other kinds of cars.
