This is a great group. They did oil changes and small repairs to my previous Toyota for several years. I felt they were honest, prompt, courteous and always have fresh coffee also! Address is 13200 Pond Springs Rd., only a couple of miles from me. My first service was a discount bargain for my 1-year old Toyota at the dealer, the next will be back to these guys. I give them 5 stars in every area.

My car was out of warranty and it had a rattle. They checked it out and told me it was the catalytic converter and that even though my normal warranty had expired, the emissions warranty was still in effect. They suggested I take it to the Dealer and have them take care of it. They also mentioned that they saw evidence of an oil leak but the converter obstructed the possible source. They suggested I have the dealer look at that while they were replacing the converter. This was all done gratis! Bottom line - honest and fair. I'd highly recommend them.

The Toyota dealership diagnosed my car as having a damaged/defective rear hub/bearing assembly, blamed the problem on aftermarket rims, and quoted me ~500 to fix it. I looked up Northwest Imports on the Car Talk website and took it to them for a second opinion. David, the owner, took the time to personally test drive my car, confirm and explain the problem, and quoted me about $100 less than the dealer. They had the work done halfway through the day and warrantied the work for 2 years, 24K miles. Couldn't be happier!

I was not terribly impressed with this shop based on the prior comments. First off, there were communication issues and an inspection took more time than the work on the car which didn't make any sense. Also, their price of $89 per hour wasn't comparable compared to others in town. Probably won't go back which is disappointing since they are right down the street.

I've taken my '97 A4 to NW Imports many times. I trust them completely -- they do thorough, excellent work. They are a little pricier than other places, but in my opinion they are worth it. I will say that they are a lot pickier than most mechanics, so perhaps some of the work they've recommended for my car could be seen as unnecessary or overly fussy. But I really want to keep my Audi in top shape, and getting it maintenanced regularly at NW shows in the car's performance. Anyway, even though they cost more and aren't terribly convenient to my location, I get all of my work done at NW.
