Alan is very honest. I had an erratic electronic problem, and he replaced two sensors($80) and I had to bring it back. It turned out to be the distributorless ing. module ($$$), and because he had my car a total of a week, it was free of charge!!! Ever hear of a mech. do that??? He has been my mech. for 10 yrs. and I now drive 50 miles for his honesty/trust.

I honestly believe this guy runs the best shop in N. Texas. If he doesn't think he can get yours done in a timely manner, or if he just thinks a specialist could do that repair better, he refers you to another mechanic. This is a family run business, and his sister Diane actually runs the place. If there's a car these people don't know how to fix, it's parked in Area 51 with the black helicopters.

Recently sold 1994 Honda Accord to daughter. The daughter took car to another shop( in another city) to have the oil and filter changed and was told the car could not be serviced as the drain plug had been screwed in to tightly. Since the last oil chnge was done by Calvert's I took the car their shop and explained the problem. Diane said they would assume responsibility for the problem. The drain pan was replaced along with the oil filter and new oil was installed at no charge! Calvert Auto reponded in cheerful and timely manner.

When I moved to town 12 years ago, Calvert's was recommended to me by several co-workers. They've worked on several of my cars and those of my extended family over the years and we've always been satisfied. They don't put on unnecessary parts, so when they say you need it, you know you're getting the straight story. I would (and do) recommend them to anyone.
