The name is misleading. They do pretty much everything. They diagnosed & fixed a noisy timing belt, replaced a power window motor and solved a nagging problem with the auto tran on our 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis. (The Mercury dealer had us doing an annual auto tran flush and fluid change. These guys knew there was a new transmission fluid that fixed the weird glitch in this transmission). They have also replaced a cooling fan, done a brake job, and fixed broken door hardware on our 1990 Buick Century. They keep up on manfacturer's maintenance updates and have been dead on on diagnosing and repair. The prices are fair; repairing the power window, for example was half what the dealer wanted. And they are squeaky honest. It's a pretty good hike to this place from our house, but it's been worth it.

They keep my two Honda's running well.

Mechanic is great and really knows his stuff. The shop's name implies muffler work should be a specialty. I guess with bolt-on replacement mufflers they might do fine, but for custom work on older cars i would suggest going somewhere else.

DRIVE BY THIS SHOP FREQUENTLY - LOCATED ON DICKERSON PARKWAY -BETWEEN THE GEORGE BUSH AND FRANKFORD ROAD - WEST SIDE - STOPPED BY ON MY OWN ON A SUNDAY TO LOOK THE PLACE OVER - THE FACILITY LOOKS LIKE THE WAY THIS OUTFIT OPERATES - FIRST RATE. - THEY DID SOME GASKET WORK ON MY '95 CHEVROLET PICKUP - FIXED THE PROBLEM - OWNER - KEVIN - CALLED ME ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER TO SEE IF I WAS HAPPY WITH THE JOB. ALSO SENT ME A FOLLOW-UP THANK YOU FOR USING THEIR FACILITY. I'M A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AND WE AREN'T RELATED. - JIM THE SERVICE MGR. DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM UP FRONT. --- WILL TAKE MY OTHER VEHICLE IN FOR FUTURE TUNE- UPS AND REPAIRS.

Used to be called Carrollton Muffler Radiator & Alignment. They've done two repairs for me. Both are best referred to as "Mechanic's Nightmares", and both involved intermittent oddball electrical problems. Both were handled in a reasonable amount of time, and both were done to my rather picky satisfaction. I was kept informed of the progress, the charges were reasonable, and neither repair has resulted in a return trip. I've done my own repairs and maintenance in the past, and will continue to do much of it in the future. However, anything I can't handle will be done here, and I won't be worried about the result. I know it will be handled properly.

I found these guys on Yelp, and the reviews are spot on. They are very professional, honest, and reasonable pricing. I would trust them emphatically with any of my cars needs.
