This is one of the few garages I have used that actually torques lug nuts after a tire rotation. When they couldn't locate an intermittent computer problem in my car after trying for 2 days (and they have the right test equipment) they recommended I take it to the dealer's shop and didn't charge me a dime. They could have shotgunned the problem and charged a small fortune.

I have been a car owner for 30 years and Marc at Marc's Muffler is one of only 3 auto mechanics that I feel I've been able to trust completely to do the job honestly and at a fair price in those 30 years! And if he can't do the job, he'll tell you and refer you to someone who can.

After being quoted between $230-350 to repair a muffler on a truck I had just bought used, I was told about Marc's Muffler shop. After examining my truck, they told me I had been misled by the other mechanics that had examined my vehicle, and in fact the truck did not need an expensive replacement part. I only needed a bolt replaced, and they fixed it right up, saving me well over $160 off the lowest prior estimate I had been given by others. They were friendly, courteous, and truthful. I will always go back to them.

Marc and crew have worked on my cars for years. They always keep me updated on work in progress and respond to questions. The one time I had trouble with a part repair they subbed out, Marc followed up quickly and fairly and replaced it. I've had Marc look over a used car I was contemplating buying and he gave me a prioritized list of things that would likely need to be done, without charging me for his time spent assessing the car. I trust when Mac says I need a repair done that I need the repair done. I can think of no more glowing recommendation of a mechanic!

I am glad shops still exist with some pride and integrity. My youngest daughter (21) was traveling across the country to her first job out of college. She stops for the night in Ft Worth and her brake line ruptures as she pulls into the hotel. Potential nightmare scenario for a father 1500 miles away. I call the shop (1/2 mile from hotel) when they opened the following morning, and they promptly got her vehicle in for assessment. Fairly simple repair, metal line on one side of the axle ruptured due to age and rust. The mechanic expressed his concerns about other rusty components and potential for additional parts. I authorized him to treat it like it was his daughters truck and to fix what was needed and call me with the damage. I pretty much gave him a blank check and he charged me what i feel was more than fair for labor and parts for work performed! He replaced ONLY what needed repair EVEN AFTER i said if you have any doubts about other components just do it. Joe gave me a detailed assessment and reasoning for replacing the parts he did. Good work Marcs.. I in no way feel i was over charged or unnecessary work was performed! Thank you for your integrity! From one car guy to another... I have no reservations of endorsing them!
