Well I was at another mechanic and he tried to tell me I needed a $150 flush job in my radiator, then they tried to tell me since I was a 100 miles over my oil change. So I took it to Vernon and Fletcher and found out all I needed was a $30 dollar flush job. I hate it when a mechanic tries to take advantage of me just because I'm a female. So I really trust this shop for thier honest work and reliability.

Vernon & Fletcher was just a click and answered prayer from internet guide. Having no idea about them, I read one review and took the chance. From the first phone call to check out, the entire group was helpful to this parent out of town dealing with a college student's car. They were very professional, diagnosed the problem, and explained it all. The problem was not as severe as feared, and they absolutely took great care to put the vehicle back on the road only after completely checking the vehicle. All this was done for a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Vernon and Fletcher to everyone.

I had used Vernon Fletcher for years on several different cars. A little over a year ago, I took my Honda Pilot to them to have the Timing Belt replaced along with a few other minor problems repaired. They called me with the initial estimate for this repair and was told that it was going to be over $1,600. I told them that over double what the owner had told me what it would cost about 2 months earlier. He called me back about an hour later, and said they had made a "math" mistake, and the new estimate was approximately $1,200. This was still over double what the owner had told me previously, but I thought they were honest, and told them to proceed. I got the Honda back several days later. I asked to talk to the mechanic who had done the repairs had was denied. I had always done that in the past, just to get a general idea of what the mechanic felt about the overall condition of my car. This is where it gets bad, several weeks later, I had an idiot light appear on my dash regarding my SRS system, after doing some research on the web, this might have been an issue that Honda may fix for free (they didn't). I took it to the dealership and they told me my car was registered to Vernon Fletcher Automotive in their system, and asked me if I was the new owner? Vernon Fletcher had taken my car to the dealership for repairs! If I wanted the dealership to do the work I would have gone there first. If Vernon Fletcher was unqualified to do this work, they should have said. Either way my opinion of Vernon Fletcher's honesty fell to zero. Like I said I had used Vernon Fletcher for years, but not any more.
