Had a problem with my Scirocco, so I stopped by this garage to see if they could tell me anything. Unbeknownst to me, I had chosen a high-end shop that specialized in Benz' and the like. Gerald - although I didn't know his name at that time - was the mechanic who listened to my description of the problem. From that data, he went directly to the fuse box - boy, did I feel silly - and quickly replaced the bad fuse. Then with those gorgeous eyes and wonderful smile, he told me that there was NO Charge. What a concept! They were the only garage to work on my VW as long as I owned it. I even recommended them when I sold it.

Best shop in Columbia for Porsches, bar none. Kind of 'off the beaten track' location-wise, but well worth a little extra travel. George, Gerald, Les and the whole team are excellent people to work with, and have taken care of my cars since about 1988. Honesty, enthusiasm for the cars, and encyclopedic knowledge make them the best bet. They also work on other makes, such as BMW and Mercedes.

My daughter took her car here for overheating. They did not have a thermostat for the car in stock so they sent her away, stating that it was probably the thermostat. When she returned they charged her $200 to replace the thermostat and then told her that the head gasket was blown. She left with the car still overheating. They are in the car repair business. If they cannot repair the car, they shouldn't charge. And $200 for a thermostat, REALLY? $13.95 at parts store. Do not take your car here.

These guys are awesome. Our family owns Porsche, Mercedes and BMW and we are super picky- our cars must be in perfect running order. I would not take any of out cars anywhere but Doc's. They fix it right the first time. Extremely honest. Reasonable rates. Been doing business here for 15 years. Never a disappointment or a return visit to fix something a second time.
