After having difficulty diagnosing and repairing a Mazda, they admitted that the error was theirs, did not charge us for the work they had done, and refunded the payment for the initial, unproductive repairs. They now have many branches and we have used this company since it was a one site facility and the owner, Ken Gamble, did some repairs himself. Another case of the good guys winning. He now runs an extensive operation.

This shop has a very good local reputation. My wife takes her car there when she gets tired of waiting for me to fix it. I can't fault anything they've ever done, and admire their judgement. A bit pricey, but worth it.

The one I use is in Simpsonville. They have always fixed the problem the first time. Bit pricey but feel it's worth it. Have always been nice. Will furnish ride to work if needed. Always call about three days after repair to ask about service.

The last time I brought my A4 in it was running as if it only had two cylinders. It does have 180,000 miles on it so I thought it may be time to send it off to the junk yard. When I received the phone call from the Butler Road facility they said the engine just needs a good cleaning; throttle body and upper engine I believe. Now it runs great and am looking forward to seeing the odometer pass 200,000miles. I also like the fact that North Hills has eight locations. They are just great.

Best place in Greenville to go. Would not go any other place!

We have used their services for approximately eleven years. I first became aware of them by listening to Ken Gamble's "Driving Line" Show on WORDRadio1330AM (Now on WLFJ680AM). Five cars have been purchased from their E. North Street location. Normally, we had used their Byrdland Drive location for our needs. They have since closed that location (due to expansion) and settled in at the E. North Street address. We've been very pleased with the service (which often, is above and beyond the call of duty) and their Staff. Brent, Hank, Joey, and the other "auto experts", have always treated us honestly, fairly, and ethically. Mr. Gamble should be proud of the way he handles his business and the caliber of employees that he has. There are five people in our family, and we all driving North Hills Auto cars. Wouldn't have it any other way. Yes...I am a biased customer...They service what they sell to the nth degree. (Took Mr. Gamble three months to find the make, model, color, etc. of the car that I wanted...but, he found it!)

I use the Simpsonville branch. They are customer-oriented, competent, and always clear about costs before the work is actually done. A year ago, they did a major engine repair for me--fixing the work that another mechanic messed up. They took the time to help me contact people to get all the engine warranty stuff cleared up and did a terrific job. The company owner, Ken Gamble, called after one routine service just to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. They cost a little more but are worth it.
