Always been honest with me. Take time to explain things fully. Specialize in Mercedes but work on anyhthing. I take my Dodge Ram 3500 diesel truck to them as well as my Mercedes.

If you own a luxury vehicle DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO AUTOTECHS OF THE LOWCOUNTRY. These folks have no accountability and have horrible customer service. Trying to save a buck I had my car serviced there one time.....and that's all it took. After routine preventative service my car rattled like a bucket of bolts. Called these folks within an hour of getting my car. Their response was that I could drop the car off and they'd take a look at it in the next day or so. Wow, couldn't even get them to recheck the work they had just done. The next morning I took it to Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head and begged them to put my car back together again. In by 10a out by 4p and my car is purring like a kitten, with a nice wash and vac to boot! Folks, it may cost you a few pennies more but after dealing with Autotechs of the Lowcountry, my advice is to you is spend the pennies!!!

Let me summarize 21 experiences (since 2010, 4 cars) with AutoTechs of the Low Country -- they're outstanding, 5 Stars. Expert, honest, reliable, go out of their way to make things convenient etc. Several friends are now happy customers based on my experiences. You won't be unhappy. (Note there is a similarly named firm so be sure you go to this one on Persimmon St. Bluffton SC, convenient to Hilton Head Island).

Best experience I've ever had with an auto shop. Run by Rodger Houseman, sons Michael and Stephen, and Timmy at the front desk. The estimate was reasonable...and ended up less than estimated...always a pleasant surprise. They insisted on bringing me into the shop area to show and explain the wear on my brakes...which they indicated didn't need to be replaced yet. They weren't trying to sell me anything. You could eat off the shop floor and the lobby for customers is immaculate...contrary to the Car Guys joke that it's usually the opposite. When I got to my car I realized I hadn't picked up a few of their business cards to give to friends, so I turned around and went back to the office. Both Stephen and Michael saw me and hurriedly came out the front door to ask if I needed something else. They are INCREDIBLY customer service oriented. I am mystified by the customer who gave them only one star and complained loudly. Not my experience. This place is great!
