This mechanic is one in a million -- he's stood behind his work product and has never let me down. Once the shop replaced my alternator and it died 2 months after the warranty had run out. Hah! It was replaced free of charge. I used to live close to this particular body shop in Palo Alto and have since moved to Redwood City. I still bring Jim my business, and he's excellent. That's why I've been a customer for well over 10 years.

The "official" Mercedes dealers in the area are not nearly as competent, nor as cost effective, as West Chester Foreign Car. The mecahnics at WCFC are great. They know their stuff, and if they're confronted with something they know they can't handle, they'll tell you.

This shop has a loyal clientele that has built up over the years not by advertising, or a web site, but by word of mouth. The owners are knowledgeable, competent, honest, and genuinely friendly, not programmed-response friendly -- in other words, they are everything a dealership service department is not. I have always been pleased with the work they've done on my car.

These guys are great! They always provide friendly & honest service. I only keep newer Hondas that still have factory warranty so, they don't need much but, I'd much rather have West Chester Foreign do the maintenance than the 'stealership'!

The quality of work provided by West Chester Foreign Car Service is WONDERFUL! They work with you, for a fair and honest price. The mechanics are both knowledgeable and respectful. Two years ago, when I first had my car worked on, I could sense their passion. I am writing this review because recently I had an excellent experience. Scott saved me an ample amount of money and now my power steering rack is fixed. Also, he took a block of time from his day to thoroughly explain what was fixed. Furthermore, I recommended these mechanics because I trust their work; however, that is not my main reason. It's the loyalty I feel when speaking to them and the inflection in their voice that leads me to their garage. Please check them out, for whatever reason you have. We must keep garages like this in West Chester thriving; I promise you will be satisfied.

This shop is a real gem; I highly recommend it. I took my car in to have a couple of tire issues checked, along with the brakes, since my idiot-brake light kept flickering on. I was prepared to need new brakes (after 86,000 miles) and wondered if I'd have to buy new tire(s). When I checked in, I could tell right away Scott is good people -- he made a friendly joke about the noise problem in my tire. When all was said and done, it cost me just $61, including the oil change I asked for. He rotated and balanced the tires, found the thing stuck in the tread that was making noise and told me I still had plenty of brake life left. He thinks it just needed a little brake fluid, which they added and didn't even charge for. I give them five stars.
