Mike has been working on BMWs for over 20 years. Trained by BMW. Loves foreign cars. Good all round guy. Even has a blind man working in his shop. And I love his dalmation who comes to greet me at the door, or just walk around the place. There is a rumor that for a considerable period of time some years ago, BMW executives from Montvale were bringing their cars to Mike in Suburban Philadelphia for him to work on.

Michael has been servicing my BMW's for over 25 years. There was a short period when I tried my local dealer following a purchase from them. During this time, I had a problem with a grating noise from the rear of my 325I when turning sharply. The dealer had 3 chances and was unable to identify or fix it. I went back to Mike who got it on the first try (at the last dealer service, they had failed to include some special additive that the AST clutch in the differential required). Problem solved. Back to Bavarian Specialties from then on. My local BMW dealer has a fine service department but Michael takes it personally when he sees a BMW with a problem. So you know it is going to be fixed right. I believe they also service Porsche and Mercedes to get all of the great Swabbian Engineering into their shop.

Mike and the guys at Bavarian are fantastic. I look at it this way - they are better/cheaper than the local dealers AND they race BMWs therefore they know the cars inside and out. They have never mistreated me and very honest. Comments like "hey I'll take your money but you can wait until 100K before doing that, things are fine..." are the norm. I have 100% confidence with these guys.
