Tom Zforza the owner has been working on my vehicles for over 3 years from his home. He receintly quit his job as a Subaru Dealer Mechanic to restor a local retro Gulf Gas Station and ope his full time auto repair business. His shop is the cleanest and most organized shop I have ever seen. All of his equipment and testing devices are stae of the art, to include hisgh speed tire balanceing, alignments, transmttion flush etc. He has been the most honest and fair individual in this sometimes ethically clouded service industry that I have and many of my friends have delt with. I am supprised everytime I walk in to see so many familar faces, mostly new customers that have heard about Tom's positive reputation that myself and many other longterm customers continually express to others. He is supports his community and is awonderful guy! His

I am the owner of three Subarus. All are serviced at Best Auto. My daughter has had a couple of problems with her 2005 Impreza and the folks at Best have take the time to explain the problem, how to fix it and how much it will cost. They have never overcharged (in fact the final cost has been less than the estimate). This shop is clean, friendly and in a very convenient location. The only suggestion I would make would be that they stay open later than 5:30 (maybe till 6?). It's hard to get the vehicles right after work sometimes. Otherwise, I have total faith in this shop and have recommended them to many of my friends.

My trip to Best Auto Service & Tire Center in Tannersville, PA turned out to be the worst auto service experience I’ve had. We were on vacation and the car broke down. It would not start. I decide to call Best Auto Service and was told that they fix this type of Audi. I used my insurance tow to get the car there just after noon. After the car was already off the flatbed truck, I was told that they don’t have the time to look at the car the same day. I got a call in the afternoon of the next day saying that fuel pressure is out of range and that they need to do additional testing and was asked if they should continue as it will cost more money. I agreed to continue diagnosis but said that I need to know before the end of the day if they’ll be able to fix the car. I needed to call before they closed to find out the status and eventually was told that they still don’t know what the problem is and that they need more time to diagnose the issue. The next day when I was picking up the car, I asked what additional diagnosis was performed. I was told that everything was rechecked. Best Auto Service & Tire Center of Tannersville PA had my car for 2 days, they didn’t figure out the issue, charged me $150 and I needed to pay to have it towed to a dealer in NJ because I used my insurance tow to get it to their shop. The dealer was able to figure out the issue a few hours after the car was towed to them and had it fixed the next day.
