The shop owner is one of the most knowledgeable and personable mechanics I have ever come in contact with. As a 21 year old female with three older brothers I know a few things about cars, and it was great to go there and actually be treated as though I have a working brain. This guy knows his stuff and runs an honest business.

They kept my VW running better than it ever had before. Every explanation was straightforward, and he'd occasionally discourage me from getting certain work done that might be prohibitively expensive and wouldn't really improve the car -- cruise control, that sort of thing. Best mechanics I've ever dealt with, and great at what they do.

John @ Gemini is the best mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has forgoten more about cars than even Klick and Klack. He will sit down and explain everything that he did, everthing that he recommends doing in the future and everything in between. My wife and I have brought both of our Audis (Audi 90 Quattro and Audi A3) to him and have been completely satisfied with each visit.

This is the first automotive technician who has answered my questions without a trace of annoyance. He made recommendations to prevent engine wear and seemed extremely knowledgeable about the make and model that I drive even though their specialty is in European makes. I didn't observe the interactions with male customers but this is the first place that I was treated as an intelligent female customer. He also made the obvious and minimalist repair first that incidentally solved the problem.

I've taken both my car and my wife's car here for several years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They are very knowledgeable about the make/model of my vehicle and do an excellent job in maintaining it. Also, they charge very reasonable rates, and they've always fixed the problem the first time. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone in the area.

I have been happy with the work they do but their customer service leaves much to be desired. The head of the shop, John, is very unpleasant to converse with. He is very cold and argumentative at times. Their hourly rates are too high to justify getting any basic maintenance done there. But if you have a foreign car that has a more technical problem and you can afford them, they seem to know what they are doing. All of their invoices are hand written and not very legible.

While they may be able to fix your car, John has terrible customer relation skills. I was verbally abused in the office for suggesting that I did not want to pay for a part they broke. He went off on a tirade, and all I could do was stand there while he yelled at me. There have been other times when he was mildly rude, and I ignored it. This was over the top, and I'll never go back.
