Tom Carter is owner & head mechanic for this service station. 17 years as certified mechanic for local Saab dealership. Best part of moving to Pennsylvania 4 years ago was finding Tom Carter! We found him after the local Avelinos chain ripped us off for an inspection by telling us a 4yr old Saab failed the emissions test. Babied my Saab & takes great care of my Toyota 4Runner. Carter definitely makes the most Honest category hands down. I had a compressor that blew on my 4Runner & it was a $700 part to replace, plus $250 for an additional piece to anchor it, plus labor. Instead of sticking me with that huge bill, Tom went in & cleaned up the compressor & removed some build up & now it works much better!!! Total for this service - $75. WOW!!

Tom and his brother, Dave, are highly competent and unfailingly courteous. Tom always takes the time to thoroughly explain all repairs and any potential problems that he sees might crop up down the road.

Tom and crew are extremely competent and a pleasure to deal with...between our Saab and Volvo, we've used their services probably close to 20 times! They are extremely flexible, for example willing to change my oil while I was at my daughter's nearby pediatrician. Awesome! I cannot share enough praises about the quality of work, service, and attitude of Tom Carter. He even steered us to a great deal on a second-hand Saab. Our auto world would be a sad place without him. :)

They are conveniently located. The waiting room was locked. I was told it is locked, because it is cold inside. Dave asked me to wait at a nearby Dunkin Donuts. They are pricey. I paid $65 for an oil change. So If you need just oil change try elsewhere. Dave was nice to deal with. He explained everything he did for the car.

They had my customers car for less than two days fixed it for less than I thought and always stayed in contact with me during the whole process. I would use and send my customers here with out any doubt that they will be treated with the same respect and care that I give them

My 2008 saab 9-3 broke down on rt76. Had the car towed to carters. Tom called me to let me know when he and his brother could look at it. Tom took the time to give me the bad news that my engine was done. He explained everything he found and my best options. He and his brother kindly helped me load my car to take it home. Told me to call him with any questions with my engine swap. Thanks again! Nice to know there are honest mechanics out there.
