Offered used parts without hesitation due to the age of my car. Were really clear with telling and showing me what was going on. Just really friendly and professional. Really reasonable rates.

Took my car to Almond Street Garage, to get brake pads replaced. Left my car there for less then 20 minutes, and the mechanic Paul calls me back and gives me some outrageous price to install brake pads and rotors. Told him I was going to take it some where else, as soon I told him that, he asked "Would you like cheaper work then?". He then reduced the price by a lot, but I declined his offer because it seemed shady. He then told me he was going to charge me $50 plus tax for just looking at it, but never mentioned it before. When I came to the garage to pick up my car, he acted very condescending asking me to let him know how I made out. When I asked if he had something in writing that officially said he could charge me for just looking at my car, he then dropped the price to $20. So that's 3 times they reduced the price. Avoid getting ripped off. Don't take your car here. These guys try to take advantage of me the entire time for very simple routine maintenance.
