Being relatively new to Philadelphia when I had my first accident, I first took my Toyota pickup-truck to Bavarian motors in North Philadelphia. After several weeks of waiting, I was left with a cosmetically "okay" car with horrible mechanical problems - transmission fluid leaking, gear not shifting . . . When I called them about the problems, they said it still okay to drive and to bring in the truck the following week. Well, salvation came from John. He was recommended by my landlord. At first, I was impressed by the anecdote my landlord told me of how his car brokedown on I-95 coming back from D.C. He called John from the highway, did what John told him to do, and was able to drive the 100 or so miles back to Philadelphia - maybe he can even sub for one of you. Continuing the story of my truck, as soon as he looked under the hood, John deemed my truck unsafe to drive - apparently, the transmission was shot and the motor mount was bent and etc. I cost the insurance company additional few grand to fix the truck. And when the truck was finished, it was driving like new! I often hear that finding a good mechanic is as difficult and important as finding a good doctor. I don't have a good doctor I can recommend, but if you are anywhere near Philadelphia, I can't think of anybody better to take your car to.

I found Accu-Tune through this web site, and I think it is even better than the other reviewers said it was. John Flowers is skilled, considerate, kind, honest, and timely. He is the only mechanic that my husband and I will take our cars to now. Thanks, John!
