Tim and Jackie run a great family owned business. They honestly care about me, my family and our vehicles. As a single women, I feel they go above and beyond to explain what work needs to be done and how much it will cost. They never push having work done that is unnecessary. I never feel ripped off or taken advantage of. I will always recommend them to anyone that needs an honest and professional repair shop.

I will never go to them again. After several oil changes, a brake job, inspections, and a failed attempt at repairing a turn switch, they tried to charge me over five hundred dollars to replace brake lines. They even tried to get me to junk it through them. I think it was in hopes of banking on parts. The owner of the shop even mentioned that he wouldn't even have felt safe returning the vehicle to me after the repair because of the state of the lines, which doesn't make sense because after you replace something it should work as new. I ended up sending my car to another shop a few miles away and was charged 400 dollars to replace the brake lines, and received the car in top shape the next morning. The second shop told me they have heard many horror stories from people who ended up getting ripped off by Automotive Service Solutions in Macungie PA. I feel a little bad because I live in Macungie, and really wanted to trust a local shop. Turns out that I can't.

DROPPED MY CAR OFF FOR AN INSPECTION. AN EMPLOYEE AT AUTO MOTIVE SERVICE SOLUTIONS HIT A POLE WITH MY CAR. INSTEAD OF CONTACTING US THEY TRIED TO BUFF OUT THE SCRATCH TO THE FINAL COAT OF PAINT AND SCRATCH IS STILL VISIBLE AND THEY CAUSED FURTURE DAMAGE. OWNER APOLOGIZED AND SAID GET AN ENSTIMATE TO FIX. WE RECEIVED 3 ESTIMATES AVG $1,000. HE SAID THAT IS CRAZY HE ISNT PAYING IT AND HE GOT A BOGUS ESTIMATE WITH NO BUSINESS NAME ON IT FOR $300 AND SEND A CHECK. WHEN HE WAS CONTACTED HE SAID HE HAS A LAWYER ON RETAINER AND WANTS TO GO TO COURT SO HE WON’T HAVE TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT TO FIX THE DAMAGE HIS EMPLOYEE CAUSED. HE INFORMED ME THAT HE WILL SUE ME IF I TALKED TO PEOPLE ABOUT HIM NOT PAYING FOR OUR CAR. ITS BEEN A YEAR AND THIS BUSINESS’S BAD FAITH HAS LEFT US WITH A DAMAGED CAR THAT WE CAN’T AFFORD TO FIX. I HOPE TIM ROMIG IS HAPPY WITH HIMSELF AND THE IGNORANCE OF HIS ACTIONS HOW HE HANDLED THIS SITUATION. EVERY SINCE BEEN USING JEFF’S AUTO 2 BLOCKS DOWN MY OPINION THEY ARE MUCH MORE REASONABLE AND FRIENDLIER
