Good guys at Pranzo's. Seen some mistakes they've made, but they were honest about it. State inspections are very thorough, possibly overly sometimes, butI've also had some things overlooked that shouldn't have been. Overall, very nice, smart guys who do good work, if a little overpriced.

We were in a tight spot when my ladyfriend's car broke down in PA while she was on work assignment. Pranzo's Auto Service was listed on the Car Talk website with a couple good reviews and were 10 miles down the road, so we figured they were our best bet. Tom and his wife Denise(?) at Pranzo's went out of their way to help us, arranging towing when I had trouble with AAA, finishing the repair early knowing she was on a time constraint, and making it easy for her to pick the car up after hours. The towing cost was reasonable, as was the labor, and the price they charged for the starter that needed replacing was right on par with the list price on auto parts websites. Neither of us have ever met the folks at this shop face to face, as everything was arranged over the phone. We were at the mercy of complete strangers and are grateful for how we were treated. Thanks, Tom. If we ever break down in PA again, we know where to come.

I've known Tom and his wife, Denise, for years. He's our entire family's trusted mechanic, since my dad had to find a guy who worked on Volkswagens in the '80s. The guys at Pranzo's are always accommodating, quick, helpful and nice. Once, when I was driving back to college, my exhaust pipe split and fell onto the highway. I limped over to Pranzo's, where they welded it together and sent me on my way in about an hour. I can't speak highly enough of this place. They're great about working with you to drop off or pick up a car after hours and they're great about getting your oil changed while you're waiting. I would trust Tom with my life. Put it this way: I live in Scranton (about 30 miles away), but with Tom's service and prices, I gladly drive out to Lakeville to get my oil changed or new tires put on, or any other service I need.

I have 4 cars and 3 drivers (one is a college student). I've had 3 timing belt jobs done with no problems. PA state inspections are completed without looking for things to "rip off" the customer. Tom, the owner understands being honest results in repeat customers. If there is a problem with a repair it is resolved with no muss no fuss. If I can't do it myself, then the car is taken to Pranzos Garage.

Tom and his team are very good at what they do. They are honest, nice to work with and I trust them. They have worked on several of my older cars and always find a solution. I trust them. Thanks, Brooks
