Barry is Honest. being going to him 20 years at 2 different locations: Newtown & Buckingham

Barry & Mike have worked on our cars for more than 15 years. After Barry moved his shop from Newtown to Furlong, I went to other shops that were closer to my home a couple of times and regretted doing it every time. Barry isn't cheap, but his prices are fair and given his competence & honesty, ultimately a good value. We had problems on the road once a few years ago and stopped at a shop off of I95 in Danbury, Connecticut. The guy at the gas station there spent several hours on the car and couldn't figure out what was causing it to stall (but charged me labor anyway). We also left it at a shop for a couple of days when we got to our destination, paid a fortune and the problem returned on the way home. I took it to Barry when we got home. He had the problem diagnosed between the time I dropped off the car and returned home, fixed it right and the problem went away. I probably should not have filled this out and kept this info to myself (so that it does not get harder to get an appt at his shop), but the good guys in auto service deserve credit now & then. we have been using barry since about 1988 when he was in newtown. when we moved up to buckingham in 1996 we continued to drive to newtown to get our cars serviced. needless to say we were delighted when barry moved to furlong. i would recommend barry to all in the area

Stay away from this shop is my advice! My car was problem free. I took it to the shop for an inspection not knowing that Barry had sold the business. The new owner Derrick screwed up the inspection and literally the next day my car was making noises and stalling and I called the new owner who first tried to cover then backed off. Another shop told me that Derrick simply screwed up. My family dealt with Barry Luff for decades. He was honest, skilled and a real professional. In my view his replacement is an unskilled punk. Please don't patronize this schmuck who is sullying Barry's good name.
