They have serviced my cars for almost fifteen years with never a problem, they are honest and trustworthy. I have recommended them to many people, who have also bee very satisfied with the work done.

Prices are reasonable. Problems are served by expert diagnostics so instead of just throwing a bunch of new parts on the car and still having the problem while leaving a huge bill, they actually take the time to find and solve the problem often at a much lower cost than expected. I send my personal and several company cars here. I have refered several friends and family members here with no problems I feel very safe driving cars that they repair and it's actually a garage my wife feels comfortable going to with the kids in tow. Quality people Quality work.

  • car issues with Park Place
Took my Mercedes to park place for suspension not level, they replaced the isolation valve, but still same problem good 5" to 6" unleveled from left to right. Shop owner Butch told me flat: it is like going to hospital, if Xray can not find the problems, they ask you to take cat scan and you still have to pay for Xray. so he still charged me for parts and service not needed and I took to dealer and they found it was right air spring issue and fixed the problem.

  • Truth Be Told
I have been a customer of Park Place's for over fifteen years. Not once in all those years was I ever dissatisfied. They have provided the utmost care, honesty and knowledge when servicing ANY of my vehicles. Even when getting ready to purchase a good used vehicle the mechanics offered to take it for a test drive and gave their recommendations. All the vehicles that I purchased that were evaluated by Park Place Automotive turned out to be great cars. I have recommended many customers to Park Place and they in turn are as satisfied as I am. It's comforting to know that HONEST mechanics are still in business today.

  • Struggling Student
Being a young struggling college student I can understand the importance of shopping around for a good mechanic. I have already been in situations where my vehicle was priced way high at some mechanics and they even told me I needed parts that I did not require on my model of car! However all my pre mechanic woes disappeared once I drove into park place for the first time. I was met by a smile behind the counter that made it easy to want to come back. If the customer service wasn't enough I was taken aback by the prices being extremely affordable even with my financial situation as a struggling student. They were very understanding with my situation and reassured me that I did not need nearly any of the parts the other mechanics at other companies had said I needed. I left them my car with confidence and had a call back in a day with what was wrong and a fair price that I can never think about being beat. I highly suggest this company to any who value a mechanic that will not try to put in extra parts or charge them an outrageous amount. I especially recommend park place to any mothers who have college students in the area; affordable and efficient!

Why would the service manager take time to write a review of His own shop...I can tell you because I am so grateful to be part of this team we have at ParkPlace. We all have worked so hard to have someplace we can not only earn a living but build and enjoy friendships. Our code of conduct and discipline doesn't come from a written manual but is born from the heartfelt desire and dedication from everyone on our staff. I can go on about the thousands of dollars we spend on equipment and training or how clean, bright and warm our shop is but without the vigilance, caring and support from Butch (owner) the philosophy of ParkPlace would not be possible. The reality is cars and their ever advancing and changing systems today require owners to be better educated and aware what they are driving has more onboard computer networks and technology then ever. Just like the computer you are using right now, todays automobiles have to process data to integrate with mechanical systems. Our team is incredibly skilled at performing todays repair tasks. I would invite anyone to come and visit us at ParkPlace automotive in Akon, Pa. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve our great customers for so many years. Thankyou. Bob Touchinsky / Service Manager

I took my car in for a simple alignment and was charged $700. As soon as I got home I realized that my tie rod was broken (which was brand new when I sent it in) and it would have to be replaced and aligned all over again. When calling them about this they said that they new about this and decided not to tell me so that they could charge me twice I guess. I also checked to find that some other bolts were just hand tightened or not tightened at all. The shop owner was very unprofessional and did not give me a refund. He threatned to call the police on me so I paid $700 and my car is in worse shape than it was when I took it there. Every other person I tell this story to seems to know someone else who had hundreds of dollars stolen from them by the same shop. These are not mechanics, they are con artists.
