Several times these folks have made minor repairs such as replacing a leaking gas line at no charge. Also, they really seem to like what they are doing. They have been around for years, and have a solid following of customers. The only negative that I occasionally encounter is that sometimes it may take a week or so to get to my vehicle. However; when they do start working on it, nobody gets switched in front of me. Above all else, these guys are honest.

I have had several minor repairs on my old volkswagen bug done at no charge. Once I had a leaky gas line replaced for free. They also know effective fixes that can save on the cost of repair. On my old Jetta, a bracket on the firewall broke that held the clutch cable. Restoring it to original condition would have cost three times what their simple and effecive fix did. Both Bill and Norm are dedicated to helping young people develop life skills. They work with the local high schools to help selected students expand their skills. They are competent, friendly, and honest as the day is long. Two limitations they asked me to mention: 1. no diesel work 2. no diagnostic scan computer for the newer VW bugs. But for brakes, axels, broken windows, rebuilds and other such work, they are the only VW folks I recommend.

Bill, the owner, is one of the nicest people I have ever met and will go out of his way to help you. He is one of only a few very competant mechanics who works on air cooled VDubs as well as modern VW & Audi cars. He is so resonable that I sometimes give him a tip! Very highly recommended for VW & Audi repairs

Trafton is incredibly capable, fair, and friendly. He has gone out of his way on many occasions to help us with our mess of a VW (which we love despite all of its problems). There was no way our car was going to pass DEQ with a Carb. conversion from fuel injection. Bill did everything he could and eventually went in and reconverted to fuel injection. Since then, the car has been running better than ever, the gas mileage has improved, and we were able to pass DEQ with flying colors - that is with a '76 bus. He is so reasonable with price, that we have ended up insisting on paying extra on a few occasions.
