These guys RULE THE UNIVERSE!!! i bought my first car at age 32....and i know absolutely nothing. Brian, the owner, was so great...not talking down to an uneducated female... he and his sons work on the cars of everyone that i work with and we try to force everyone we know to go there because Brian is really really honest and he knows what he's doing. i don't know what his policies are as far as guaranteeing work, etc. because i have not asked. i think he is so great, and he has been so fantastic to all of my co-workers, i really trust that he will always do the right thing... the shop is a bit far from portland, and the first time trying to find it is really exciting, but he is worth the drive, and the possible 1 or 2 wrong turns before finding him. Kempton's Vehicle Maintenance. I wish that i could have a cheerleading outfit and/or a NASCAR racing outfit that was plastered all over with the name of their shop so that i could sing their praises to everyone i meet.

I took my car in because of a rubbing/grinding sound on the front left tire. I was worried it was going to be a boat load. Brian, the owner, called me up and told me there was a loose body panel rubbing behind the tire. He fixed it up with a couple of screws and told me I didn't owe a thing (even though he could have easily charged me for the 1/2 - hour labor he spent). I really appreciated that. I now take my car there whenever I have a problem

I took my Subaru in there because I am new in the neighborhood and read about it at this site. Am I ever glad! They are incredibly reasonable and helpful. Thanks, Car Talk.

They were very cooperative about getting the tune-up done within my time frame so i could get to work on time & were very friendly with my baby who got to wait in the office with me! My husband is making me take our other car there rather than going to a place more convenient to my work!

The work was performed on time and at a reasonable cost. We were surprised to find that we walk by the shop two to three times a week and didn't realize it was there. We would not have found it without your website. Thanks a bunch. We will use them again.

Couldn't ask for better service and Brian remained on top of things. His repair was almost half as much as the dealership wanted. I've had my own small business and can sense the same honesty and integrity in Brian I brought to my own business.

These guys are great! They get my car in and out quickly, with reasonable prices, and accurate service! I have no need to ever go back to the dealership.

He is the mechanic to go to, if you have a problem. He is extremely knowledgeable. The reason I did not gave 4 stars on TIMELINESS is that he has so much work backed up, he sometimes cannot get things done on time. This experience may just be me, because I live a walking distance from him, and he knows that I have a spare car. Before I begin the review, I need to tell you how to find his shop. If you google his address, it looks like his shop is on Moore St., but it is actually deep in the alley off Morre St., which makes it difficult to find him. If you are coming from McLaughlin Blvd, making a right turn onto Moore St., look for an alley, more like a driveway, to your left, just past Main St. His shop is the last one in that alley. He does have a sign at the entrance of the alley, but it's difficult to see. I do most of the routine maintenance on my cars, so I only take my cars to him couple of times a year when I have something I can't fix myself. He correctly diagnoses the problem immediately and repairs it right the first time. His price is reasonable, too.
