I first went to JD Autosports when Jesse was just an employee. I never met the previous owner but Jesse and Mark take great care of me every single time. I was initially there for a timing belt, water pump, rollers the whole nine yards so I needed to be sure I was at the right place. Money was tight and the shops near me in Lake Oswego and Beaverton were a lot more expensive and wouldn't even tell me what I needed without a diagnostic charge. Jesse is now the owner and its easy to see why. He has done an excellent job for me every time I have needed him. I live in West Linn. The shop is located in Hillsboro not far off of Hwy 26. It's worth the drive. Since the first time I went there I have also had a new clutch, brakes and rotors (for about half of what Les Schwab wanted plus high quality parts), CV joint covers, and a few other repairs that were completed while he was in there because in his words, "It's only $10 while I'm in there instead of $200 if we have to do it later." You won't be sorry seeing these guys plus they have a clean comfortable waiting room with wifi that is heated and air conditioned.

Got great communication from Mark and an honest evaluation of what my Beetle needed and a very fair price for the repair. They had no problem with me wanting to take care of the easy repairs myself and even had the part on hand for me to fix. I had them repair the ABS system on my 99 Beetle and adjust a non-functioning gas door release. If I had to gripe about anything, it was the greasy handprint left on the hood. But that was EASY to overlook after the great service. They even came to meet me at the shop to pick up the car the day after Thanksgiving... a day they were closed for business. Highly recommend these guys.
