I am a first time car owner and when I bought my used Honda I took it to this shop for an inspection. Scott was very thorough. He gave me a complete run-down on the upcoming repairs and their approximate cost. Then when I took my car to him for a timing belt replacement, which was one of the repairs he mentioned, he fixed the car quickly and at the price he had quoted me months before. Even better when my rear brakelight went out his shop replaced it for free just as a courtesy. I think what has made me happy with this mechanic is that I don't have the feeling that I am being snowed. And everyone at the shop treats me with respect.

They are on 13th Ave and Lincoln (I think or around that cross street), so right on the buss line. I always take my Honda to him. I think they only work on smaller cars. Their usually pretty busy, so unless you're in a dire situation (i.e. car is currently not running at all), you'll probably have to wait about a week to get in. They've fit me in with in a day or so when my car wouldn't even start. Scott is a super nice guy and has always fixed my car the first time at very reasonable rates.

These guys are great! Both mechanics are named Scott. You can't go wrong with either of them. They're honest, very competent, and have reasonable fees. They're also really nice guys!

I have been a Wagon Works customer for over 15 years. In all that time, they have never failed me once. I almost moved across the country several years ago, and I was more concerned about finding a new mechanic than a new doctor! Besides, both guys are named Scott, so you can't go wrong asking for them on the phone! Seriously, I wouldn't take my car to anyone else, and I'd only buy a car these guys would work on.

Wagon Works' first shot at helping was when my wife's '84 VW vanagon (Volks WAGON, ja?) needed some help. Excellent first impression. They got good ole Bessie fixed up in a timely manner, repairing only what needed immediate attention, NOT pushing for more and more repairs on the spot. Price seemed fair, and Scott (which one of the 2 I can't remember) was patient. Now, Bessie's gone on down the road but is still on it, as we see her around town from time to time. Latest service (twice) has been to my wife's '94 Mercury Villager, so yes, they'll tackle domestic as well as foreign (auto) problems. They again fixed various problems right the first time, and these problems have stayed fixed so far. Friend of ours in town takes his old Toyota van there, and he seems just as pleased as I am with the service. HIS wife's Ford was acting up. Over to Wagon Works. Story I got from our friend was this: The Ford's engine air intake hose had a leak in it. Two possible solutions: 1) get the new replacement part and install it; 2) A little duct tape here over the hole. Which did Scott recommend? If you guessed 2), you're beginning to understand how these people think. Ford is still running just fine, thank you! Allen

Wagons works has worked on many of my cars- honda, toyota, acura- they always did a thorough job without trying to do work before it needed to be done. They were honest and would let me know when I picked it up what work was ahead. I really appreciate their integrity.

Love the Steves! (both mechanics are named Steve) They take time to explain what they found & come up with a plan for most needed repairs first. Always on or below estimate. Understand what it's like to budget for repairs. Fixed a squeal that developed after replacing brake pads immediately with no charge, & admitted they couldn't hear it until it was up on the lift, but believed me that it existed & were really willing to look into it.

I have been using Scott exclusively as my mechanic since the mid 1980's. I have always found him to be totally honest and very capable. I recommend him all the time. I have never had a bad experience. He does a great job at a reasonable price. I just brought my 2005 Camry into him for new brakes at 85,000 miles. He also did the 60,000 mile maintenance for me at the same time. $284 for everything. Sometimes I call him up and ask him automotive troubleshooting questions for friends. He is always helpful and friendly.

As long as they are open with the same people, I will never go to anyone else. I have taken my car there for 18 years and they have always done it right the first time with reasonable rates. I have also called Scott for advice or taken my car by and he will gladly tell me what I need to know with a smile and simple language. They are not over-fixers. My car is 25 years old and has consistently, year after year, run well because of them. They are terrific with women - best that I've ever seen in my 45+ years of taking my car to be repaired.
