In 1997 I had a 1983 Honda Accord with a blown head gasket towed to them. they called and said that, while they'd love to fix it, they didn;t think the car was safe to drive and preferred to decline. They had inspected the car, and found that the rear end of the car was dagerously rusted. They wondered how it could still be on the suspension. they feltthat, if the car were ever in an accident, the lack of good metal could lead to severe injuries to the passengers. I looked at tehcar and agreed. Right after purchase, the car was in an accident that benttheframe. Repairs were quite satisfactory, but this had casued the undercoating to be damaged, which lead to the severe rust. Later in 2001, while willing to perform repairs, they recommended that repairs to the engine control system and air conditioner on my wife's 1985 Honda CRX were probably not cost effective, as the car was barely worth their estimated repair cost. A little checking showed their advice to be right on. They are now trusted with my wife's 2001 VW Passat Seadn and my 2003 VW Passat Wagon.
