After getting an estimate of $290 from Bill's Auto and Towing Service for a new radiator to fix a coolant leak, I hesitated because I was contemplating getting a new car. The coolant was leaking at a rate of about a cup or two a week. I later took it to Sharon Woods Auto Care and they quickly located a corroded hose clamp that was no longer clamping, and charged me about 1/4 hour labor and price of a new clamp to fix it. In the 10,000 miles I have driven since then (nine months ago), including two long-distance trips pulling a u-haul trailer, I have had to add about 1 pint of coolant to the reservoir. The radiator may have a small leak, I have noticed some white deposits on the bottom of it.

I have worked with this shop over the last 15 years and have recommended many friends who have experienced the same quality of service as me. I use this shop infrequently only because I perform most of the maintenance on my 3 cars and my kids' 3 cars. When the job is beyond my means, this shop is the only one I turn to. Mike and Daryl have proven to be extremely honest, fair, and competent every time. Even when they have refused work that is beyond their capability, Mike has been extremely helpful in getting me to the right place to get the work done. I have also worked with the Schottmiller Auto Body, which is owned by Dale, Daryl's brother. This body shop is second to none, and the many friends I have referred have also been delighted with the work performed on their cars. I am very particular about my cars (my wife will attest to this!), which is why my cars only get touched by the Schottmiller brothers.
