I have really appreciated the way they explain what work needs to be done to my car. I know enough about cars to know when something isn't quite right, but when they tell me my CV Boots need to be replaced - I give them a blank stare. They don't make me feel dumb for not knowing all about cars and they take the time to explain what should be fixed and explain it in plain English.

These folks are as honest as any I've ever dealt with. The mechanics come in after hours for education from manufacturers. Ron's (the current owner and son of the founder) wife gave birth to their child and shared a room in the hospital with my wife at the birth of our oldest child ... I'd already known Ron (he was a service director then) for 5 years. Very small world!!

I stopped at their shop based on a recommendation from a neighbor after the local Buick garage told me my 79 Century wagon need costly front end (steering) work. They looked at it and saved me $250. I've been a convert ever since (5 more General Motors cars). Always honest & straightforward. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth the money. In all this time they have made a few minor mistakes which they happily corrected. Once, after a break- in, they replace the dash on my sister-in-law's Acura (a used dash at her request for economy). The replacement had some nasty scratches which they didn't notice. She complained, the got another one with no fuss. They keep our whole neighborhood running.

Went to this shop based on the rating from this website - I have taken our car in on 3 seperate occasions for seperate reasons and have been completely satisfied with the service performed. There is even a mechanic follow up call and they offered a ride when needed. Plan on referring all of my service work to this shop. Highly recommend.

I've used them for a Mazda RX-7, Mazda Pickup, GMC Jimmy for the past 15 years with absolutely no complaints. Their integrity has been proven several times in that they twice told me to hold off replacing brake pads when I thought they needed replacement. They work in a very professional manner and give very accurate estimates both in cost and time.

C.A.R.S. fixed our 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula (5.7 l., 110,000 miles) on their first attempt despite the fact that two New Orleans Pontiac dealerships failed after numerous attempts spanning a year and a half. The distributor shaft and several other parts were replaced by a New Orleans dealer in January 2001. Subsequently, the car stalled in reverse when warmed up, and after three or four corrective attempts totaling two months of time in the dealer's garage, regressed to stalling in gear at lights as well. A second suburban dealer relieved the stalling temporarily by resetting the idle at the upper end of its limits. But of course, the car's performance was erratic and we began to lose heart. Soon after moving to Columbus in June 2002, we brought the vehicle to C.A.R.S. on the strength of previous experience by my late uncle and grandfather (both engineers and regular customers). I am delighted to report that C.A.R.S. staff quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem (not surprisingly the result of incompetent work by the previously mentioned shops). Our Firebird is purring like a kitten, and is almost as lively as one. It's been a wonderful, highly reliable automobile, and we are delighted that we can enjoy it for a while longer. C.A.R.S. has just added the third generation of our family to its customer base.
