I only go to these guys when my car can't make it to my real mechanic. Granted, my car is old (134K miles), but I've kept it well-maintained. Lots of original parts are starting to go out now. Took it in for what I'm almost certain has to be an electric problem, and they told me I needed a new fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and all the fixinings. $1,000 later, the original problem I took it in there to have fixed remains. They've tried to sell me parts I didn't need before--when I replaced the crankshaft sensor, they said you should also replace the camshaft sensor when you do it, which is totally bogus--so I'm pretty sure I got taken to the cleaners. I was charged $95 just to hook the car up to the diagnostic computer; that's way more than I've ever paid. I have no confidence that I'll even make it to work tomorrow, based on what they did today. I will say that when they replaced my water pump, the seal leaked, and they made it right with me. But that doesn't make up for the terrible feeling I get every time I leave this place.
