On more than one occasion Mark, the owner of wheatley Hills has diagnosed a problem and than referred me back to the dealer because he knew about a recall or extended warrantee that would cover the work for free. He is an excellent diagnostician, carefully explains all necessary work, shows you the worn parts (on the car) and does only what is necessary. I trust him completely which is saying a lot about anyone in the automoile trade.

Mark Catanese solved a longstanding problem I had with my 1992 Ford Taurus which 2 other shops couldn't figure out. He wasn't certain that what he replaced was going to solve it and he charged me only for the part. His other work was perfect and he saved all the old parts (without my asking him) to explain what was wrong. He's a nice guy, seems totally honest and I would recommend him to anyone. I don't think he owns a boat.

Mark is one of the nicest, most honest men I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He demands the best from himself and from the people who work for him. He always wants to give me a ride back to my house (about a mile or two), and he takes the time to explain what he has done to the car in a way I can understand. I have recommended Mark to several people, and everyone I know who has used his services agress with me. Good old fashioned reliable, honest service. One thing: Mark may seem kind of grumpy at first, but he just doesn't smile a lot. Also, he talks kind of softly, so you have to pay attention. But he is really a friendly, soft-hearted guy.

I feel very confidant that I am near Mark and his shop. He was referred to us about 15 years ago and I soon knew that he was the only "game in town" whenever my car required service. Without ever being asked to, Mark has consistenly taken it upon himself to do extra "freebie" work ranging from filling tires with air to adding various fluids which I didn't even realize were very low. The bottom line is that after dealing with Mark one time, you will find yourself with a single auto repair shop-Wheatley Hills and asking Mark many questions which he patiently answers. In addition to his excellent service, other mechanics at other shops know of and have great respect for Mark and his extensive knowledge. Judy and Michael Cohen

I used to think my father was the most honest man I ever met. Then I met Mark. Dad is in second place now. And on top of it all, he's a great mechanic (Mark, I mean).

Mark is straight forward and honest. I trust his word when it comes to making repairs on my car. Never overpriced, always fair. He does great work. We've been using him for years and would not go anywhere else

I don't know of a mechanic more knowledgeable and honest than Mark. He knows cars inside out and always patiently explains any repairs he makes to my car so that I understand it perfectly. He will not perform any work that he believes to be unnecessary. Mark takes great pride in his work and stands behind it 100%. His prices are fair, too. In short, the personalized service I receive at Wheatley Hills is second to none, unless you count the service my family received from Mark's Dad when he ran the garage.

Mark Catanese, the owner, is honest above reproach. For example, he will not replace or repair a part without permission and he will not let a customer pay for a repair that involves the replacement of worn parts without showing the customer the worn part and explaining the need for the repair. He also advises what may be needed next and, most importantly, advises when not to spend money needlessly. He is also extremely careful to advise when a customer should return to a dealer for warranteed repairs; in these cases he receives nothing for making that determination for the customer. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Mark Catanese is possibly the most honest man I know. He always discusses all the possibilities when I bring in my car for a repair, he always shows me the parts he replaced, even when I don't want to see them, always explains what he is going to do and what he has done to the car in minute detail. Mark does not hesitate to send me elsewhere if he thinks someone else can do a particular job better. He always offers me a ride home when I drop my car off. He even lets me know when my cars are coming due for inspection. Last year I got a ticket because I had forgotten to have my inspection done in time, and Mark actually apologized for not calling me up a month in advance to remind me to bring the car in. A great guy; I am blessed to have found him. Only problem: He's not open on Saturday.
