Stu and his team are a light in the tunnel. Often, dishonest, condescending mechanics can take advantage of people. i recommend them to anyone who inquires as to good mechanics in this area.

I have developed a good working relationship with the owner and mechanic. The main reason I get all my work done there is based on trust.

"STU THE SHOE" USED TO RACE THE DIRT TRACKS IN CENTRAL NY BUT TURNED "CHICKEN" SO INSTEAD HAS HIS SON RACING. THE MAN KNOWS ENGINES AND DOESN'T PULL ANY PUNCHES.

I am very comfortable having Stu and Ken work on our cars. I generally like to do the work myself if I can, but when I'm in a bind or the work is more than I can handle, I don't think twice about dropping the vehicle off at Seneca Auto, and would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a good service station. Very personable guys.

I found Stu through Mechanic's Files, thanks guys! Thought my engine was blown: flashing engine light, sudden loss of power and suddenly running rough. Turned out to be a loose spark plug! That happy ending wasn't Stu's doing, but I did call him at 11 on a Saturday morning only to find out that the shop closes at 12 on Saturdays. I thought Stu was going to say "try us on Monday" next, but instead he said "if you can make it by 12 we'll take a look." He drove the car, listened to the engine, checked the codes, removed the offending spark plug and pronounced it good. He replaced the plug, gave the engine another good listen and gave it a clean bill of health. Only charged me 20 bucks and my car problem was gone like it was just a bad dream. So, not vast experience but very positive!
