The jeep was brought in for a free oil change, covered by a Chrysler service contract. The dealer recommended an alignment & 4 new tires because they were supposedly wearing unevenly. I refused because the tires were nearly perfect and the Jeep was just inspected and aligned by one of the best alignment shops in town, Rudy Schmids. Because I refused the dealership added a notation to my repair order that any future warranty claims regarding front end alignment may be as a result of an improper alignment. I asked the service writer about this and was ignored. I asked the service manager and was ignored. I asked the general manager to look at the tires and tell me if anything looked unusual. He saw nothing unusual and finally agreed to remove the note from the repair order. In addition: Before I left the parking lot I checked the oil and it was already dirty. The dipstick showed dirty oil and the car never left their lot. The tires were never replaced and the car was never re-aligned. 25,000 additional miles have been added and the tires are just beginning to show signs that they could be replaced sometime in the future. To summarize, all I wanted was an oil change. In the process they tried to add unnecessary charges and didn't even do a good oil change. I'll never go back here again.
