  • We have been an institution of the neighborhood since 1984. Commisioned by Honda themselves as the shop of their choice in 1979. We were exclusively a Honda Service till 1984 when Honda moved downtown. Our customers have been with us since that time period and word of mouth has grown that base considerably through 30 years. We were in a hardcover book in the 80s called the Intrepid New Yorker-a guide to the best services in New York. Manhattan East was listed as THE only shop to bring your car to. Featured on channel 4 NBC news in the 90s in a piece of How to Winterize Your Car by commentator Asa Aarons. Featured in a Mens Health article (with Mark Wahlberg on the cover) about how not to be ripped off by an auto repair service. The bottom line is that we are conscientuous , work alongside the customer to come to best decision and have a minute fraction of comeback rates . we have now expanded our cars to all makes and models as I grew with my customers . Mercedes, Range Rovers,BMW Porsche as well as all American and Asian cars. Thank you too all my customers and hopefully to new ones. Onto the next 30 years!
