Nick runs the place, and while frequently their quoted one-hour jobs take two to three hours, they have always done good work for me at a reasonable price. My car has been in two accidents, and they have been able to repair the damage to the front end as well as do normal maintenance. As a regular customer, Nick has even fixed a flat tire and replaced a headlight for me at no charge (I supplied the new headlight). I've been very happy to have Nick as my regular mechanic for 10 years!

I came to this shop in late October early November having my car towed in because it would not stay idle. I assumed that I would be treated in a manner that was informative, responsive and accurate in what was needed. I spent a great deal of time calling and calling about my vehicle. That was the first problem. Sara the owner's daughter, not only treated me with such disrespect when I came to get additional work done after returning from a Crank sensor default that costs almost $400.00, but refused to answer my calls and inquiries about those additional repairs in a prompt and courteous manner. Sara Was insulted that one of her pets, was played with by my minor child when we were present to drop off our vehicle, stating harshly "You didn't play with that one, I NEVER leave him here in the shop." I being shocked she was taking this tone and position showed her the beautiful pic of my child with the dog and Sara shook her head and abruptly exited out of the shop, second problem. (What is the issue?) Nick admitted to making adjustments on my car for hood repair, but this was done without my knowledge and ok in an effort to have him only do repairs stating "I'll work on your car from now on and do your oil changes." (concern, but thinking I got a mechanic who cares) Sara who visibly looks like she is on some sort of medication and or substance would argue with me and prevent future work on my vehicle to be done, but tell me when I would call on her cell (from a private number) "oh come by Thursday, it will only be an hour, what you need should not be a lot of money." I would drive over only for Nick to say , "Oh no you gotta leave the car here!" They did no discount or favors for me, extended hold time for pick up, discount on price, etc. so I don't understand now in January I have the same problem with my vehicle which brought me to the shop in the first place. No One is answering my calls since 8:00 am today, and Sara when I call from another number on her cell (914)438-0560, which is listed as the number for the auto shop said, "I will be in the shop in 15 -20 minutes." That was over 3 hours ago. I have recorded every call and message to prove this experience. Not sure if this is a race issue because I felt very uncomfortable when Sara came on the scene. She clearly was off standish and disgruntled with us, but none of the Caucasian American men walking in and out of the shop, she was quite pleasant and attentive to them. In addition, she repeatedly would go on the side of the shop whispering on her cell phone and couldn't be found when I was looking for her as my child and I sat in the shop office being unserviced. Once Nick came to the door, she would suddenly appear looking very inebriated. It also looks like she has lost some teeth from some kind of problem. I am concerned that I didn't just get robbed at this shop and if Nick is aware that this is happening?
