MY WIFE GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT (NOT HER FAULT-GUY MADE A RIGHT TURN FROM A LEFT LANE)ONE MORNING ON THE BQE EXPRESSWAY. SINCE WE DIDN'T HAVE A SHOP, THE AUTHORIZED TOW TRUCK DRIVER SUGGESTED HIS FRIEND "DEE" AT 108 AUTO SERVICE. HE SAID HE WAS HONEST AND "KNOWS HIS STUFF". SHE AGREED. THE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT WITH MY WIFE, EXPLAINING EVERYTHING TO HER AND THE COST OF FIXING THE SEVERAL THINGS THAT WERE DAMAGED. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND WHAT REALLY IMPRESSED ME WAS HE FIXED THE GLOVE BOX LOCK (WHICH HAD BROKEN AGAIN 9 MO. AFTER A MITZI DEALER HAD FIXED IT FOR $150.00)REPLACING A DEALER INSTALLED BRACKET FO FREE. SHE PICKED UP THE CAR THAT EVENING.

I first went to the Acura dealership and they gave me a list of things that needed fixing and a $2,600 estimate. Then I took it to Dee at 108 Auto Service. He was unbelievably good. When I arrived, he hoisted my car up on the lift and we both got underneath and he pointed out which parts of Acura's assessment were accurate and which ones were untrue. He even told me that I could wait another 6-12 months before doing one of the things that Acura said I had to do. Long story short, it cost me $600. It was done ontime. It cost exactly what he estimated it would cost. And when I arrived to pick it up, he hoisted the car back up on the lift and showed me exactly what he had done. He also showed me the pile of parts that had been removed. AND to top it off, he fixed a couple of things for free (e.g. gluing down a seal around a window). It was an excellent experience. I can recommend them with no hesitation. Definitely ask for Dee.

Dee is the owner of this shop and I have to say he is one of the most honest mechanics that I have met and I have been recycling through mechanics for years because of trust issues. Dee diagnosed my car issue for free even though other mechanics could not figure out what it was. He also gave me options by telling me to buy my parts at auto zone that he does not have in stock which I have never seen a mechanic ever do, to help me save $. He is a very knowledgeable mechanic and his shop is EXTREMELY busy at all times, which gives me even more interest in his work and ethics. 5 star review and long term customer for sure.
