Jim's specialty is in renovating antiques, so he got the patience needed to do the job right. So when you bring your "nowadays car", the same meticulous attention is given to the repair, may it be a beat up F-150 pick up truck, or a Lexus with a perfect body! The shop is well organized, clean and spacious. I can recommend him greatly for maintenance and also more challenging repairs.

Jim's Auto replaced my in-laws alternator when it died, and then some months later (though not many miles), the voltage regulator in the replacement alternator developed a problem and Jim's fixed the unit as a warranty, diagnosing the car on a Sunday morning and fixing it Monday so they could get back home ASAP. It's good to have a mechanic stand behind their work, even when the problem was with a part they purchased from someone else.

Have mostly used them for an older LeBaron convertible, but also for body work on our hondas after deer strikes and fender benders. Very honest.
