They do work on other makes, but specialize in Subarus. My baby is an 87. I have never had a bad experience with either Karl or any of his mechanics. I purchased a Subaru because I knew that I would get reliable service with Pritchard. My sister, mother, grandmother, great uncle and I all take our Subaru wagons there and in most cases, purchased our cars there. Whenever I call, Karl listens to my problem and, if applicable, diagnoses the problem over the phone. If I know what's wrong and just need to bring my car in, I am able to get an appointment within a day or two, and the work is always done the same day.

Karl has always been honest, prompt and fair with me. The work was always done on the day promised and sometimes for less than estimated. I have had several Subarus serviced there and a Ford Bronco. He has even helped me sell my 92 Legacy wagon.

karl has always been great with our cars and our family.last time we brought in our honda and Karl was very busy so, he sent it to Rick Coons to get it done . we got it back the same day and the engine was completely overhauled .they even re-painted the car in the exact color i wanted!! AT NO CHARGE !!Karl and Corkey and the gang are just awesome!!

Karl was valedictorian of his class and loves being a mechanic. He also sells cars. He kept a K car on the road for me beyond it's reasonable life expectancy. (I sold it to him and it clocked another 100k before he declared it unsafe.) He now prefers to work on (and sell) Subarus. He's been in business at least 25 years and is not going to disappear. He has built his business by "word of mouth". You might pay a couple dollars more for an older vehicle from him, but you'll be ahead after the first repair. He sold us a beater for our daughter when she was in High School. Six months later, she took it off the road and put the right front into a deep ditch. He towed the car to his place and replaced the right front axle. The whole bill was less than I would have been charged by anyone else just to tow it.

A truly honest man who does top notch work. I'm really glad to see he's gotten such great ratings here. He absolutely deserves them, based on my experience. Good, good man.

Karl is not only an honest fantastic mechanic but sells quality low cost cars he is familiar with. We are in an area where folks can't afford new cars or comprehensive insurance, the weather gets rough and we need reliable cars. I don't have an hourly rate written here because I bought a car from him. Karl took care of any issues he felt necessary before I took possession of the car. He went above and beyond. I felt I stole the vehicle from him. He suggested I take the car to my mechanic for another look. They were too busy. I test drove it. Braked it hard. Sat with it, listened to the noises. Opened the hood. Inspected with my flash light looking for leaks. Karl put it up on the lift. I inspected it for rust. He told me the work he did and what he knew was done. He even said the tires were not new as the previous owner claimed they were and will have to be replaced in the Spring. I think I found my new mechanic, although a bit far from my home.
