Capitol Tech Auto Repair is the best shop I've ever used. Derek and Jean have been maintaining my cars for years. Honesty, customer service and competence are their strong points. Prices are usually in line with other shops, but because they will go out of their way to help you when you are in pinch, I believe one gets good value here. An example: my baby sitter locked her keys in her car near my house. Derek came over and retrieved the keys at no cost. That's service! The only negative is the location of the shop. It is very convenient for downtown Albany residents, but there is only street parking. It can sometimes be a challenge to drop the car off the night prior to an appointment because of a lack of parking.

Always pleased with the work and attention to my commuter schedule. Very near the Empire State Plaza. I also like the fact that there are female mechanics here!
