If someone else has given you a scary estimate or has made you feel you are being 'taken,' you need to visit Don's D.I. Auto Service. They will not steer you wrong. Check the website for customer comments. That's what I did, and the others were absolutely right. Firestone wanted $1200 to repair my car-- at Don's the problem was a quick fix for which I was not even charged. I am not saying this would always be the case, but their honesty certainly sold me. They seem to care about having customers for life, and I am a new convert! You can also tell by the positive atmosphere in the shop that the mechanics are happy to be working there. That tells you a lot.

Don's D.I. Service has done quite a bit of work for me. They always try to find the most reasonable economic solution. With some mechanics you are scared of the price, but they always find the best sourcing for the parts that they need and they pass that price on to the customer. They don't take advantage, they are honest and thorough.
