I've known Bob for over eight years now, and - while I'm an "old car" fanatic/restorer - and know a lot about cars, I cannot be bothered with "modern" stuff - so I'll pay for ze kompuder schtuff on my daily cars (Scorpio and Audi Quattro)... He's always given fair pricing, usually on time, and the work is almost invariably of high quality - and will include a free analysis of "what's likely to be needed - up to 5000 miles out"...and all round good guy/team.. He ain't the cheapest...but the best value for money, and in forty years of motoring I've met 'em all.....CES.

After moving to Vegas, I was clueless on who to go to for maintenance and repairs. After being fed up from bad service and quality from the chain-mechanics, I just looked in Google for a nearby mechanic shop that was personally owned. I found Bob (who was surprised that I found him not through a referral since that is how they get most of their business). They are always honest and thorough in what needs repair, what can wait a bit (if you're on a tight budget), and what would be recommended. People have made comments about his prices, and they do feel a bit high, however, as far as I can tell, it is because he will not install sub-par parts. I had a lot of work that needed to be done, but I was tight on money, and put it off. When his parts supplier started carrying my car, he called me since he was able to do the same work for hundreds less since he no longer had to pay dealer prices. I also really like that Bob explains everything he does, and in a way you can understand, no matter your car knowledge level. His receipts also are detailed in all of the work that was done and broken down with prices on each labor and part charge. Overall, I would highly recommend Bob, despite the not-the-best neighborhood his shop is located in, and the prices, since I believe it is money well spent.
