Very, very honest. They don't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. They just fixed my car. They use original equipment parts.

They take the time to explain everything, do expert work & go above & beyond in taking good care of their customers. I'm extremely pleased with the work I've had done & am happy to find such good mechanics for my Subaru so close to home. I will continue to use them for all the work needed on my car.

First, I don't make it a regular practice of having a mechanic. Having your own mechanic is like kind of like having your attorney. If you can keep out of that sort of trouble then all the better. Second, I just bought a 4runner that was neglected a bit mechanically. Not abused, just neglected. I bought it at a low price expecting to put money into it. Mechanically, 5 things were wrong with it. Timing belt needed to be done which I will do that work. Airbag light is on. Cruise control is not working. Rear driver's side axle seal was leaking and needed to be repacked. Rear brakes needed to be done. Third, out of the above things that needed to be done, I decided to get the leaky seal and ther brake done at the same time with RR Import. Before I got the work done, I checked out the price with MBS in town. I verified that it was a good price and got the work done. $375 got the problem fixed and the rear breaks done. Forth, the continuing story is the work that Randy (the owner) is doing now to figure out why my airbag light is on. He hasn't been about to figure it out, yet. However, at the end of the week he actually left me a message on my cell to tell me he was still trying to figure it out. I thought that was pretty cool. Highly recommend Rand and Rio Rancho Import.

I have bought parts for my Honda Civics many times from Rio Rancho Imports. I had them do an alignment. Jake (parts person), Katie (front desk person and co-owner?), Randy (head technician and co-owner?) are always polite and patient. All are knowledgeable but know to qualify any speculation they may have about solving a problem or when to ask Randy. I have sent at least three friends there in the last few years (timing belt, window replacement, transmission problem). All have been extremely happy with the service and quite satisfied with the cost. These folks are super-sharp and intelligent enough to know that honesty is what brings people back.

I took my '99 Jaguar in for a quote on front rotors and pads and a new coil pack. They quoted me just over $500, when other shops were quoting over $800. They explained how they could do that and I had them do the work. Then I took in my Honda Pilot to have them look at the front brakes. They pointed out that 3 of 4 motor mounts were needing replacement. Glad they caught that, as this vehicle makes some long drives in bad weather. They now have all my business!
