My kids call this place Bill and Tom's Excellent Garage. I can't say enough good things about them. They tell you honestly when a car is no longer worth it but will do triage when you have no alternative. They have puzzled out problems, when necessary improvised solutions, and in many ways gone above and beyond the call of duty to keep my old wrecks both running and safe at a reasonable price. They are willing WHEN ASKED to find rebuilt or junkyard parts. They are always willing to show you what they are doing and have never, ever talked down to me because I'm a woman. They are good mechanics and honest people to deal with, my only reservation in recommending them is that they may get too busy to take care of Wendy (my VW) for me.
