Juan Paneda, the owner mechanic, is just celebrating the tenth anniversary of his business. I have been taking my cars to him since the beginning when he had a single lift in his shop. Now he has two locations - one for significant repairs and one for routine work such as oil changes and tire changing. In my experience, he has built his very successful business through hard work, competence and honesty.

I took a car to them to look over that I was considering buying. They squeezed me in at the end of the day, but they took the time to do a very thorough inspection and showed me everything that was wrong with the car. If I lived in the area I would definitely go there for maintenance. I was extremely impressed with the amount of time spent on the car and the detail that they looked into. The inspection cost significantly less than the hourly rate for labor, too!

I would not use this shop again unless I lived in the area so they could do followup work. They put a new transmission in after mine failed on the NJ turnpike. I then drove back home a few states away. My worst fears of having this extensive work done on the road came true. I had to pay another mechanic for his labor to troubleshot transmission related issues, and even after that the gear shifts are very hard and abrupt.
