I can say without hesitation that Shawn is the best mechanic I've ever had. He's absolutely honest, and will tell it like it is without either exaggeration or sugar coating. His prices are MORE than fair, he understands both "I want it to be like new" AND "it doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be functional," and he'll bend over backwards to help out a customer. He kept my old truck (and trailer!)humming along happily the entire time I lived in the area; I told him before I left that he was what I would miss most about the area, and I haven't been wrong! You won't find a fancy shop with free coffee in the waiting room (actually, you won't even find a waiting room, though you can often get a ride home from one of the shop folks or even another customer if you live nearby), but you WILL find a fantastic, knowledgeable mechanic who will never try to take advantage of you (male or female!).
